Walmart at lower greenville Walmart Neighborhood Market store on Lower Greenville will be opening at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.

The store brings 100 jobs, and Walmart is making donations to “local heath care providers, schools and neighborhood groups,” according to a media release.

Council member Angela Hunt will be there for a ribbon cutting Wednesday morning, along with students from Robert E. Lee Elementary School, who will recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Walmart’s grand opening festivities also will include a Dallas Cowboys ticket giveaway, freebies from local vendors and costumed characters.
